Has been working in Medical Affairs for 20 years in a variety of roles as a Sr. Medical Science Liaison as well as a Regional Scientific Manager. Expertise includes Hepatology, Critical Care, Sedation, Delirium and Pain Management. Launching several drugs and working with late stage agents has provided experience across the spectrum of the life cycle. Has developed a network of opinion leaders within the United States and internationally. 
Sheila has earned her PhD in Nursing at the University of Phoenix and a MSN from Kent State University. Sheila’s advanced education has focused on enhancing the care of critically ill patients as well as exploring the nurses’ experience of caring for delirious critically ill patients.
